In a collaborative effort between the Illinois Department of Human Services and Continuing Education and Outreach at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, the classroom training portion for Direct Support Persons (DSP) has been converted into an online training format. Utilizing excellent material and building upon the current information provided in the face to face DSP training, our online program will prepare you with additional web source information, activities relating to core concepts, alongside assessments to evaluate the participant’s understanding of each module.
Because the course is available to you in an online format, it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
