PhD (Dance History), studied in LGITMiK (St. Petersburg) and Maxim Gorky Literature Institute (Poetry). Early start in career - as Director of the Museum of Dance in famous Vaganova Academy (St. Petersburg). Taught Dance History curriculum 1981-1988. Then worked as one of the first consultants in Russian Culture Fund under the auspices of George Soros Foundation. After relocation to New York, immersed into contemporary art world: Savva Gallery (153 E 53 St in Manhattan) and later as a Corporate Art Consultant until 2009. In Detroit - Founding Director of Kunsthalle Detroit (Museum of Multimedia Art) and Biennial Luminale Detroit.
