Instructional Designer, former Computer Science Instructor, who enjoys learning new teaching methodologies and pedagogy. I am also interested and have been researching learning styles and if they really do exist or not - there is quite a bit of research already done on this topic, however, I'm exploring the gaps. I have many research interests and continue to learn more and more about how instructional design theorists have applied new technologies. I'm also interested in the backwards design approach and would love to examine it closer with real applications. My goal for 2016 - implement gamification and digital badges in more than one course!
