As a language researcher, my most current goal is to bring target cultural practices into the understanding of population that we study. The investigation has to be done by bilinguals, or co-conducted by researchers of the target culture and the "outsider" researcher.
As a person, I seek to become more understanding of difficult culture groups and contribute to the communities that I belong, virtual or local communities.
