I am a data scientist at Kohl's Digital Center, Silicon Valley. I am currently working on personalization -- improving customer profiles based on their implicit behavior so as to recommend them relevant products. I use Hadoop, Pig, Hive, R, Python, NLP, Google Cloud Platform to solve complex data science problems.
I completed my masters in statistics & applied mathematics from University of California, Santa Cruz. I worked as a research assistant at University of Washington in the computer science department. Before coming to UCSC, I worked for Accenture for four years, and have a B.S. degree in CS.
