Catherine Novak has built her career at the forefront of online communications since 1989, as a business writer and marketer, and more recently as an educator, speaker and social media consultant. Through her company, WordSpring, and at the web design firm IdeaZone.ca, Catherine works with clients in business and the non-profit sector, and has taken an active role promoting the responsible growth of social media use at the business and organizational level in British Columbia. She teaches courses in Social Media at Royal Roads University, Sector Learning Solutions and in independent seminars.
