Bruce Snaddon is a Senior Lecturer teaching Communication Design at graduate and post-‐grad levels in the department of Applied Design, within a faculty that houses eight design disciplines. It is within this environment that he sees his mission to build design curricula that are more awake and relevant to world change. He represents his faculty on a number of forums that further the aims of design education that is contextual, meaningful and sustainable in the broader community. Increasingly he is involved in establishing partnerships and collaborations for the university that help build toward Cape Town’s World Design Capital 2014 designation.
