Die Swisstom AG mit Sitz in Landquart in der Schweiz entwickelt und fertigt innovative medizinische Geräte. Unser neuer Lungenfunktionsmonitor ermöglicht lebensrettende Behandlungen von Patienten auf der Intensivstation und unter Allgemeinanästhesie. Im Unterschied zur herkömmlichen Tomografie basiert die bettseitige Bildgebung von Swisstom auf strahlungsfreien Prinzipien: der elektrischen Impedanztomografie (EIT). Es gibt derzeit keine vergleichbaren Geräte, die eine solche regionale Organfunktion kontinuierlich und in Echtzeit am Krankenbett darstellen können.
