In 24 months, the Cimopolée project has implemented the eponymous platform, which tracks cyclones in the Indian Ocean in real time and quantifies their impacts. Integrated into Madagascar's risk management application, it enables authorities to take preventive action and analyze damage. The tool and its code are open source.

In the Aude department, which was particularly affected, the ALEOFEU project produced a vegetation fire hazard map to support a major prevention and awareness campaign.
