Please note that, although done in conjunction with the Great Britain Tourism Survey, the GBDVS uses a sample size of 35,000 rather than 60,000. Furthermore, 2019 and 2020 data for both categories were taken from previous reports.

² Owing to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, data for 2021 was only collected from April to December. As a result, the number of survey respondents that year totaled 47,008.
