  7. APPENDIX Barro Regressions We estimate Barro regressions adding the public sector wage premium to a list of standard explanatory variables employed in such regressions. Our sample consists of a panel of twenty-one OECD countries (Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, UK and US) from 1975 to 2009. Data points for the regressions are five year average. Table A.1 presents the results.
