- Région et Développement 54 (2021) 99 The determinants of cultural goods exports growth in Togo Abstract - This article analyzes the determinants of the exports of Togolese cultural goods to the rest of the world based on a gravity model over the period 2002 to 2015. Togo has sharply increased its exports of cultural goods in recent years, in particular to countries in development located in Africa, and primarily in the design sector. The size of the partner countries' economies, a common language, but especially the level of education and a favorable institutional environment (voice and accountability, quality of regulations, control of corruption, etc.) in Togo are the main determinants of cultural goods exports growth.
