Competing in the F-34 category, a field of athletes with coordination impairments who rely on sheer upper body strength—he secured Gold Medals in both Shot Put and Javelin. Standing tall behind his success is Project LAKSHYA, the CSR flagship initiative of Bina Refinery, which nurtures sporting talent among rural children across 22 villages. With regular training, scholarships, and support for competitive opportunities, over 2000 players have benefitted, many earning recognition at state, national, and even international levels. BPCL and Oil India Limited signed a Joint Venture Agreement for a City Gas Distribution Network in Arunachal Pradesh. The newly formed JVC will build a robust gas distribution network across the state by setting up CNG stations and supplying PNG to households, businesses, and industries. Aligned with the Government of India’s vision of a gas-based economy, the initiative will foster socio-economic development in the North-East through clean, sustainable energy access.
