Staff at the Helpdesk on Floor 1 can help with any enquiries and you can contact your Research and Academic Support Librarian for one to one help.

Your University ID card is also your Library card – you’ll need this to enter Library spaces, and to borrow books.

Log into your My Library Account to keep track of the books you have borrowed and view your reading history.

You have access to books, academic journals and articles in both print and online formats.

Access online resources using your ITS username and password.

You can also use reading lists for your modules to find and access materials.

We have over 1 million printed books and over 1.3 million e-resources. Explore the collection using Library Search.

You will find multifunctional printers throughout our spaces where you can print, photocopy and scan documents.

Top up your printer credits to print or copy. Scanning is free!

We offer a variety of study spaces to suit you.

We have group and individual study zones, Learning Grids elsewhere on campus, and dedicated spaces for postgraduates and Medical and Life Sciences Students.

We aim to make our spaces and collections accessible to all!

We offer assistive technology, accessible and sensory study rooms, and can arrange individually tailored induction tours for anyone wishing to discuss support for specific needs.

Our Research and Academic Support Librarians are here to help you research and reference your assignments.

We run sessions that are embedded into your timetable or you can arrange a 1-1 session for individual help and support.

A range of free online courses to help you make the most of your Library is available. Some are subject specific, while some are more general.

You could also go through our Online Induction course at a pace which suits you and find out how to get started using the Library.
