Significant progress continues on site at Crest Broadbeach since the last update in April. The basement raft slab is now over 90% complete, with the final section scheduled for completion before the first week of August. Due to the sheer size and scale of the basement five slab, construction required over 10 individual pours using a total 4,251m³ of concrete and 624 tonnes of reinforcing steel. The Tower 1 Jump-form installation is now complete and works have commenced on forming and pouring the infill slabs back to ground floor level. Ramps and infill’s are complete to basement level 3 on the western portion of the site and our construction team are working toward reaching the ground level for the entire site by approximately November this year. Looking beyond the milestone of reaching the ground floor, focus will then shift toward forming up the transfer slab on level 2, which will facilitate the structure for the two towers and their eventual climb skywards. Our team continues to make strong progress on site as Crest moves closer to becoming a defining feature of the Broadbeach skyline. With Tower 1 now over 85% sold and Tower 2 selling fast, now is the perfect time to secure your place in this landmark development.
