    Another milestone for MRM Health in its mission to lead the field in advancing microbiome-based therapeutics to patients! MRM Health has raised €55 million in Series B financing, led by BIOCODEX and included strong participation from ATHOS, as well as new investor BNP Paribas Fortis Private Equity and existing investors SFPIM, Ackermans & van Haaren, OMX Europe Venture Fund, VIB and Qbic II. This milestone enables us to complete a strong Phase 2 trial of our lead program MH002 in ulcerative colitis, advance two additional programs to IND approval, and further expand our proprietary CORAL® platform and pipeline. Together with our team and partners, we will continue to build our pipeline of first-in-class therapeutics, allowing us to harness the full power of the gut microbiome and provide a novel treatment option for patients with chronic inflammatory diseases and high unmet need.

    Last Friday, we hosted the 5th edition of Connect & Inspire 🤝, welcoming 73 participants from 27 companies. The event featured engaging breakout sessions on strategy implementation with Professor Kurt Verweire (Vlerick Business School), Martin Langer - CEO OroraTech, and Gilles Jourquin - CEO Newpharma, and on creating positive synergies after a merger with Michael De Maegt (Colruyt Group) and Pieterjan Nuitten - Managing Director Jims. Onze groep had sinds februari 2022 al een belang van 41,36 % en neemt in april 2025 de belangen van Korys Investments NV (41,36 %) en de overblijvende oprichters (17,28 %) over. 🥗 🥘 🍲Smartmat is een belangrijke Belgische speler in de online voedingsmarkt, bekend van het merk Foodbag. Onder Foodbag levert Smartmat wekelijks maaltijdboxen aan huis. Klanten kunnen, zonder abonnement, elke week kiezen uit 35 gerechten en er is voor ieder wat wils: gerechten geïnspireerd op de Belgische keuken, vegetarische of vegan gerechten maar evengoed nieuwe smaken en keukens. De maaltijdboxen kunnen ook gereserveerd en opgehaald worden bij Collect&Go en bij Okay vinden klanten de Foodbag Easy Meals, pakketten met ingrediënten voor één verse maaltijd. 📈 Door de mix van thuislevering en beschikbaarheid via de winkelformules van Colruyt Group, onderscheidt Foodbag zich met een omnichannel-aanpak. Foodbag groeide de afgelopen jaren in aantal klanten en bestellingen. Smartmat is zo een leider in de Belgische online voedingsmarkt, met een omzet van 50 miljoen euro in boekjaar 2024. Door de bijkomende investering wil Colruyt Group zijn positie in de Belgische online voedingsmarkt verder uitbouwen. 🇧🇪 Dit is ook een nieuw hoofdstuk in een op-en-top Belgisch verhaal. Smartmat werkt voor het merk Foodbag samen met meer dan 100 lokale leveranciers voor verse ingrediënten en met eigen bezorgers voor levering aan huis. Aan die samenwerking met lokale partners hecht Colruyt Group als Belgische retailer ook heel veel belang.
