We are excited to announce that Lap-Chee Tsui will be a featured speaker at "Current Frontiers of Precision Therapeutics" on October 22 during #GairdnerScienceWeek. In 1989, Tsui and his team identified the #CysticFibrosis gene, a discovery which has been described as one of the most significant in the history of human genetics. Tsui, Senior Scientist Emeritus at The Hospital for Sick Children and Emeritus University Professor University of Toronto, will explore the identification of the cystic fibrosis gene during his talk.
