  • Please Welcome Nithin Gerard Joseph to MMSCAN in the role of Coordinator, Vehicle Logistics! Nithin, will be supporting the Manager, Vehicle Logistics by monitoring, analyzing, and directing the movement of vehicles to our Dealers and Fleet Customers, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any transport issues that may arise. Nithin will work closely with MMSCAN, MMNA, our rail, truck yard, and 3PL partners to ensure effective communication and smooth operations. He will also be responsible for supporting Regional Sales Operations by providing updates on in-transit units, handling damage claims of vehicles in transit, and assisting with reporting functions. His contributions will be essential in maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication across our logistics processes. Nithin brings a strong logistics background with him. Having been in Canada for about two years, he previously worked in the UAE across multiple logistics companies, where he gained experience managing both ends of the supply chain, including freight movement, warehouse coordination, and import/export operations. Most recently, he was overseeing the distribution of perishable products across Canada. In that role, he coordinated deliveries from distribution centers to last-mile couriers, ensured items reached customers efficiently, and monitored delivery performance through detailed post-delivery reporting. He has also actively been involved in order processing, cross-shift coordination, and addressing operational issues, giving him a solid foundation in fast-paced logistics environments. Outside of work, Nithin enjoys driving, traveling, gaming, and watching films — and recently completed a 1,000-piece puzzle as a fun accomplishment. Professionally, he has experience improving cross-functional coordination, optimizing last-mile delivery, and resolving high-priority logistics challenges through collaboration and quick decision-making.

  • Mitsubishi Motors Sales of Canada is proud to have been part of the After the Bell Food Banks Canada | Banques alimentaires Canada initiative that provides nutritious, child-friendly food packs during the summer when school-based supports are not available. With the help of our MMSCAN volunteers, we packed 840 bags, contributing to the 2025 program goal of delivering 215,000 packs in 235 communities across the country. We look forward to continuing our support for initiatives that enrich society and create a meaningful impact in our communities.   • Please Welcome Maclean Van Raay to MMSCAN in the role of Intern, Website! Maclean is joining our team as our Website Intern, supporting the ongoing improvement and maintenance of our corporate website. Working in close collaboration with our Website Specialist, and other internal teams, Maclean will manage day-to-day website tasks such as content updates and maintenance. He will contribute to enhancing the website’s user experience; focusing on usability, navigation, and accessibility. Maclean will also assist in organizing content publication schedules, ensuring all updates align with brand guidelines. Outside of work, Maclean is a sports enthusiast and traveler. He played varsity baseball during his time at McMaster University and completed a 6-month exchange program in Europe. One of his proudest accomplishments is completing the MARS Apprentice Program through McMaster University, a competitive and intensive marketing case competition that allowed him to collaborate with top companies on real-world business challenges, building his skills in strategy, creativity, and presentation.

More details about the vehicle will be announced in the future, but it will be based on the next-generation Nissan LEAF as we work with our Alliance partner Nissan Motor Co.   • Please Welcome Mayu Yoshino to MMSCAN in the role of Specialist, Aftersales Marketing. Mayu, as the Specialist, Aftersales Marketing will be responsible for driving growth and profitability in Parts, Accessories, and Drop Ship through the development of new marketing initiatives and the management of existing programs. Mayu’s role will balance collaboration and individual innovation to support corporate objectives. Mayu will participate in strategic planning, program implementation, vendor communication, and cross-departmental coordination. Mayu will also be involved in market analysis, promotional development, performance reporting, and supporting customer retention programs like MICAR, all while ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.    Mayu has a personal passion for food and cooking, she enjoys exploring new cuisines and hopes to take up activities like tennis or hiking. An interesting fact about Mayu is that her father, a former mechanic, inspired her love for cars and motorbikes. She also built her own PC in Japan for gaming and video editing, although she rarely ended up using it.

She will be involved in planning media events, tracking media activities, expanding contacts and other public relations activities. For internal communications, she will assist with corporate communications, such as supporting internal newsletters, presentations and dealer communications. Sumiko is a seasoned marketing leader with over 13 years of experience in multinational automotive companies, known for crafting impactful omnichannel strategies and leading high-performing public relations initiatives. With a strong academic foundation and practical expertise, she has successfully developed and executed marketing campaigns. Her achievements include award-winning brand repositioning efforts, leading electrification campaigns, and managing national dealer networks. Educated in Lima and Barcelona, Sumiko is also a professional photographer, a marathon runner, a passionate cook and has brought her three rescue dogs with her to Canada from her native Peru.
