As summer gives way to fall, the trail running world descends on Chamonix, a small town in the French Alps just north of Mont Blanc, for race week. Since the races kicked off in 2003, the area’s sharp elevation gains and technical trails have served as a proving ground for the world’s finest ultrarunners (seven members of norda’s elite trail team partook this year). And, over time, the week has become just as important to the brands that support those runners.
