Feeding The Future

About us

We are a leading global provider of crop inputs and services, operating a world-class network of production, distribution and ag retail facilities that positions us to efficiently serve the needs of farmers. We focus on creating long-term value by prioritizing investments that strengthen the advantages of our business across the ag value chain and by maintaining access to the resources and relationships with stakeholders needed to achieve our goals. We produce and distribute about 27 million tonnes of upstream potash, nitrogen, and phosphate products for global agricultural, industrial, and feed customers. Our downstream agriculture retail network services over 600,000 customer accounts worldwide. Our strong and trusted relationship with farmers is at the heart of our business. In spending our days with farmers, we plan with them, walk their fields and explore ways to help them succeed. We have a comprehensive portfolio of crop inputs and services, spanning the ag value chain, and we are working together with our customers to improve on-farm productivity to meet the needs of a growing global population. Nutrien’s Trinidad nitrogen facility plays a key role in supplying essential crop nutrients to farmers around the world – but our connection to Trinidad and Tobago goes beyond production. For more than 16 years, Nutrien has proudly partnered with the Nutrien Silver Stars Steel Orchestra, a celebrated steelpan group that brings people together through music, culture and community. This long-standing sponsorship reflects our commitment to supporting the regions where we operate, investing not only in economic activity, but in local traditions and talent.

Across Nutrien, our teams are finding meaningful ways to connect communities to agriculture. From classroom presentations to a tour of the Port of Antwerp, this experience brought the full agricultural value chain to life. “The goal of this project is to help students understand how plants, crops, ecosystems, and farmers are all connected,” says Tanguy Dubois, Director, European Sales. “We also wanted to highlight the beneficial role of fertilizer and help demystify some ofthe common misconceptions around its use.” Through initiatives like this, our teams are sparking curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and helping students see the world of agriculture in new ways.
