  • Delivering Results at Record Speed – The Rangeland Way At Rangeland Engineering, our tagline — Experts, Partners, Innovators — is more than words. It's how we show up for our clients. When Steel Reef needed to bring propane from their Coleville facility to HD-5 spec for moisture content, Rangeland answered the call. The solution involved designing and installing a Calcium Chloride dryer vessel with all related auxiliaries. The technical scope was clear, but the real test was time. With propane sales season approaching, the system had to be operational within 90 days — an aggressive timeline, considering the usual 6–9 month lead times for major components like vessels, internals, filters, and control valves. Rangeland moved quickly. We completed the design, collaborated closely with Steel Reef, and explored smart workarounds — including retrofitting equipment and fabricating vessels from large bore pipe — to beat the clock. The result: Steel Reef met propane spec on April 2, 2025, just 90 days from project kickoff. An exceptional turnaround that demonstrates what’s possible when engineering expertise meets innovative execution. #EngineeringExcellence #ProcessEngineering #PropaneProcessing #Teamwork #ClientSuccess #RangelandEngineering #SteelReef #NGL #Fractionation #Terminals

  • A new arrival! We were thrilled to learn the incredible news from the Bison Exhibit which Rangeland proudly sponsors at The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo! On May 31, one of the two wood bison, Keewatin welcomed a healthy calf into the world. Even more special, a few lucky visitors and staff had the rare chance to witness the moment firsthand! At just ten days old, the little one is already nursing and finding its footing, showing all the signs of a strong start. The other wood bison, Taiga, welcomed her calf, Ok’takii, just 18 days earlier. We’re so excited to watch these two grow up and bond side by side! We are especially honoured to support an exhibit guided by Siksika teachings, where respect, tradition, and conservation come together in meaningful ways. As the Calgary Zoo welcomes this newest addition, they will soon begin the journey of choosing a name — listening with open hearts and honouring the knowledge so generously shared with them. Congratulations to the entire team caring for these amazing animals! We’ll be following closely as this journey continues and the new calf is named! #WoodBison #NewArrival #BisonCalf #Keewatin #ConservationInAction #SiksikaKnowledge #RangelandEngineering #ProudSponsor #CalgaryZoo

  • Rangeland’s latest Sustainable Project: —Working with Woodfibre LNG: Net Zero Energy from Canada’s West Coast Just 7 km from Squamish, B.C., the Woodfibre LNG Project is transforming a former pulp mill into the world’s first net zero LNG export facility — powered by B.C.’s clean hydro and electric compression. 🔹 What’s Being Built: A cutting-edge facility exporting 2.1M tonnes of LNG annually, helping global markets transition from coal. 🔹 Sustainability First: With just 0.04 tCO₂e/tLNG, it’s among the lowest carbon intensities worldwide — net zero from construction through operations via nature-based offsets. 🔹 Rangeland’s Role: We’re proud to provide Validation Engineering and act as Engineer of Record (EoR) for the marine infrastructure, including: • Shoreline Revetments • Module Off-loading Facility (MOF) • Mooring Structures This marks a significant milestone for Rangeland — our first time delivering both validation and EoR responsibilities for these complex marine systems. 🔹 In Partnership: Developed with the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and all levels of government. 📆 Construction began in 2023, with major completion in 2027. #WoodfibreLNG #NetZero #MarineEngineering #RangelandEngineering #CleanEnergy #EoR #SquamishNation #LNGCanada #Sustainability #ClimateLeadership
