Base pay range

CA$150,000.00/yr - CA$175,000.00/yr

Overseeing all components of the design, construction and property management of our restaurant locations, the Real Estate Development team manages all aspects of the project lifecycle on new builds and major renovations from the conceptual design phase through to completion. This team also acts as property managers of existing locations including repairs + maintenance, risk audits and capital projects.


YOU ARE:

  • A dynamic restaurant design leader with significant design experience (generally 20+ years)
  • Experienced in managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects that balance brand identity, operational needs, and guest expectations.
  • A proven people leader who inspires and develops high-performing teams, including in-house staff and external consultants.
  • Skilled at collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and brand leaders.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices.
  • A designated Interior Designer, proficient in design and project management tools, and current on sustainability and industry trends.
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time across Canada and the US.


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Setting strategic direction and vision for the Design Department.
  • Leading and developing your team while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Overseeing all design projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with brand, budget, and schedule.
  • Managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Integrating sustainable practices and emerging trends into projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, construction, and operations

  • Provide compensation between $150,00 to $175,000. The compensation package for this role takes various factors into consideration including market rates, experience, and qualifications
