We are pleased to share that Terra Quantum AG’s Quantum Memory Matrix (#QMM) has been featured on the cover of Astronomy MDPI. In the paper “Extending the Quantum Memory Matrix to Dark Energy: Residual Vacuum Imprint and Slow-Roll Entropy Fields”, Dr. Florian Neukart, Dr. Eike Marx, and Prof. Valerii Vinokur extend the QMM framework to address one of the most challenging questions in modern physics: the origin of dark energy and its connection to dark matter. The study models spacetime as a finite-capacity quantum information network. Within this structure, both dark matter and dark energy arise from the dynamics of a single microscopic information field. The model reproduces key features of the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background data without introducing new parameters, explains the accelerating expansion of the universe, and links quantum information theory to cosmology in a unified way. This work highlights Terra Quantum AG’s commitment to advancing quantum science, extending our research from computing and materials into the informational structure of the universe itself. 👉 Read the full paper: https://lnkd.in/dCYXSsUx #QuantumIsNow #QuantumPhysics #Cosmology #DarkEnergy #DarkMatter #Innovation #ScienceFrontiers

🚚 When fleets span thousands of stops, how do you keep routing both optimal and fast enough to matter in real-world operations? At large scale, even a 1% improvement in routing efficiency can save thousands of kilometers driven, translating to lower fuel consumption, reduced CO₂ emissions, and fewer hours on the road. The Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) lies at the heart of modern logistics. Yet even state-of-the-art solvers struggle to scale as instance sizes increase. To understand how well TQrouting performs under real logistics conditions, we benchmarked it on two of the most widely used CVRP datasets in the community: Uchoa et al. (medium to large-scale, up to 1,000 customers) and Arnold et al. (very large-scale, up to 30,000 customers The results demonstrate exceptional solution quality achieved within remarkably short runtimes, even at large scales: ✅ Within 1 minute, TQrouting delivered near-optimal solutions on the Uchoa dataset (up to 1,000 customers) ✅ On large-scale instances with up to 30,000 customers, it continued to converge efficiently within 10–60 minute time limits ✅ In several large cases, other solvers ran out of time or memory In practice, this level of performance enables fleets to cover fewer kilometers, reduce empty miles, and maximize resource utilization, without waiting hours for a solver to deliver results. Terra Quantum AG's TQrouting demonstrates that high-quality routing decisions can be made fast, driving both operational efficiency and promoting sustainable use of fleet resources. 🔗 Full benchmark analysis: https://lnkd.in/e97XJuT6 Michael Perelshtein, Dr. Giorgi Tadumadze, Florian Neukart, Markus Pflitsch, Satanei Zhinova, Julius von Selchow, Mikhail Somov, Katsiaryna T., Margarita Veshchezerova, Anya Schukin #QuantumIsNow #Logistics #RoutingOptimization #CVRP #Sustainability #QuantumOptimization #QuantumAI #HybridQuantumSolutions #HybridQuantumComputing #TQrouting

Reflections from Washington to Mar-a-Lago: Quantum, Cyber, and the Global Future of AI Over the past week, I had the privilege of participating in a series of deeply strategic discussions, first in Washington D.C., then over several inspiring and intellectually engaging days at Mar-a-Lago, with senior leaders from government, defense, finance, and technology. The conversations revolved around a pressing question: How can we ensure technological sovereignty and security in the age of Quantum and AI? Across both sides of the Atlantic, one thing is evident. Quantum and AI are no longer just innovation topics, they have become matters of national strategy and global stability. We discussed the implications of post-quantum cryptography and QKD for national defense systems, the race for quantum-secure communications, and how Quantum-enhanced AI could redefine both intelligence operations and industrial competitiveness. A recurring theme in these dialogues was the urgent need for trusted digital infrastructure. As AI models grow exponentially more capable, and as quantum computing approaches practical deployment, the question is no longer if but how fast we can embed quantum-grade security into our digital ecosystem. My key takeaway: trust in technology equals trust in sovereignty. Nations and enterprises must build this trust on secure, transparent, and quantum-resilient foundations. At Terra Quantum AG, we remain committed to turning this vision into reality, pioneering technologies that bridge quantum science and industry to secure the digital future. #QuantumIsNow #AI #Cybersecurity #Geopolitics #TechSovereignty #Leadership #Innovation #QuantumComputing

Deep tech needs ambition not caution Great to see BILD shining a spotlight on a topic that deserves attention: Germany’s role in the technologies that will define the next era. Our CEO Markus Pflitsch sat down with Daniel Metzler and Heike Freund. Three Deep Tech founders building very different futures: quantum tech, space, and clean fusion energy. Different missions, same conclusion: Europe has everything it needs to lead. What’s missing is the urgency to scale. Let’s be honest, Europe isn’t short on brainpower, science or engineering. What we need now is a mindset shift. Faster decisions, more courage to fund the long game, and the confidence to build global tech champions here, not watch them leave. Quantum, AI, fusion and space aren’t “nice innovation stories.” They are strategic infrastructure for Europe’s future, shaping security, economy, sustainability, and sovereignty. The good news? The momentum is real, the founders are here, and the tech is there. Now we need bold execution, less caution and more ambition. At Terra Quantum AG, we’re committed to building quantum and secure AI technology in Europe with global impact. Because leadership starts with showing it’s possible. Thank you Patricia Platiel for driving this conversation into the media and giving Deep Tech the visibility it deserves. 👉Watch the full discussion and explore the complete article here: https://lnkd.in/eMhcpEgg #QuantumIsNow #DeepTech #Quantum #AI #Innovation #FutureTech #Europe #TechLeadership #Sovereignty

This year’s ELRIG Drug Discovery Conference in Liverpool brought together an inspiring mix of perspectives, from large pharma to emerging biotech, all pushing drug discovery towards a future where no disease remains out of reach. At Terra Quantum AG, we took part in those discussions, exploring how emerging computational approaches and AI are transforming the way new therapies are discovered. Across the two days, a recurring theme was the growing focus on new therapeutic modalities and on integrating digital methods more deeply into the discovery pipeline. At the same time, one key question echoed through many discussions: How do we ensure that as AI accelerates discovery, we don’t limit innovation to what the data already knows? In an era of ever-larger models and training datasets, the real frontier lies in exploring the unknowns: areas where data is sparse, modalities are novel, and traditional AI can’t yet reach. That’s where physics-driven AI approaches have a vital role to play, helping researchers venture into new chemical spaces, uncover new interactions, and design molecules beyond established patterns. We left Liverpool inspired by the energy of this community: scientists, technologists, and innovators collectively pushing to make the “undruggable” treatable. It was not a surprise that our most popular sticker reflected the wish on everyone’s mind: “May the Binding Force Be With You”. 💥A remarkable leap toward the quantum internet   Modern development of quantum communications requires the development of methods of quantum physics that can offer communication security, properly improving the protection of safe data transmission as compared to methods of classical encryption. 🌐 After setting a world record in quantum key distribution (#QKD), transmitting quantum-secure keys over 1,707 km along the standard optical fiber with a 10,000× improvement in performance, we are proud to share the next milestone in our journey to the future: our paper, “Loss control-based QKD with noisy devices,” has been published in Nature Portfolio’s Scientific Reports. This work represents a crucial leap from controlled classical experiments to real-world quantum communication. In practical deployments, devices are never perfect. They generate noise, drift, and errors. Yet, our research demonstrates that QKD remains secure and efficient even in these noisy, real-life environments. As reported in Nature Portfolio: “Our findings demonstrate a positive impact of the trusted preparation noise on the QKD based on loss control for reverse and direct reconciliation scenarios.” 🛜 In other words: even the natural imperfections of real hardware can strengthen the security of quantum communication when harnessed correctly. This insight paves the way for scalable, loss-tolerant, and resilient quantum networks, which will make the backbone of the future quantum internet. For industries, governments, and critical infrastructures, this means a new paradigm of everlasting security. Protection is no longer based on computational assumptions, but is built on the unbreakable principles of quantum physics. At Terra Quantum AG, we transform deep quantum science into technologies that redefine global trust, connectivity, and sovereignty in the digital age.
