A successful seminar titled “Keeping our Seas Crystal Clear” and dedicated on raising marine environmental awareness, was held on Wednesday 30th of July at St Raphael Resort and Marina aiming to inform coastal communities who interact with the ocean ecosystem, on sustainable eco -navigation practices and ocean related policies for the protection of the sea from pollution. Initiated by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and Shipping Deputy Ministry of Cyprus as part of the action plan of the Committee for the Protection of the Sea from Pollution, and co-organized with the CMMI - Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute and St Raphael Resort & Marina, the event joined yacht owners, coastal cruise vessel owners and captains who care about the sustainability of our oceans, to pursue a healthier and more productive marine environment. Events like this enhance the importance of the cultivation of environmental awareness and culture for the protection of our oceans from pollution for ecosystem resilience. Sincere thanks and appreciation to the attendees for their enthusiastic participation!
