About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Front office Department in Paris, the receptionist The Reception Manager will provide supervision, delegation, support and leadership in the Reception Desk in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by the hotel. Reception Manager will run the entire Reception Desk operations and will also serve as the Manager on Duty when needed.

About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Front office Department in Paris, the receptionist The Reception Manager will provide supervision, delegation, support and leadership in the Reception Desk in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by the hotel. Reception Manager will run the entire Reception Desk operations and will also serve as the Manager on Duty when needed.
As Receptionist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring an exceptional experience from the moment they enter the hotel.
- Manage check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Respond to guest inquiries professionally, providing information about hotel services and recommending local activities.
- Coordinate with other departments (concierge, room service, dining) to meet guest needs in a personalized and efficient manner.
- Ensure rooms are ready for guest arrivals by closely working with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly with discretion and courtesy, ensuring satisfaction.
- Perform billing operations, manage payments, and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area while ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Ensure luxury service standards are upheld, paying close attention to detail and quality of Mandarin Oriental standards.
- Availability for night shifts
- Successful experience in a similar position in an establishment of the same category
- Organized, rigorous and discreet
- Excellent presentation
- Initiative and availability
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for customer contact
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in a 3rd language appreciated (Mandarin, Arabic, Russian)
