Done Criteria

The PDP contract is deployed to mainnet, has passed security audits, and is being used by at least 2 onramps in production. The deployment must include comprehensive testing via itests, complete and updated technical documentation and a PDP-explorer systems.

Why Important

Aims to enhance the Filecoin L1 storage offering by introducing a new Proof of Data Possession (PDP), which represents a step towards enabling fast retrieval capabilities on Filecoin data. Even if not guarantee data retrieval, PDP proves that efficient retrieval is possible (if the data provider is willing to serve the data)

Closing this ticket as the PDP contracts has been live on the mainnet for some time. The done criterion of being used by at least two onramps in production can be tracked through #100. We are actively assisting Storacha with onboarding to the contract.
