Couldn't connect MCP with Claude

Tried setting up MCP with Claude providing access token and Home directory path as suggested in README, but it is not working. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hey @Gopi30k do you have uv installed? You would need that installed, check the instruction here: https://docs.astral.sh/uv/getting-started/installation/

Hey @krish-adi, Thanks for your prompt response.
I did install uvx, still the connection fails.
I also tried debugging with mcp inspector, didn't help either.

It would be great if you can provide some steps to establish the connection in the README

Hi Krish, version 0.3.2 seems to be broken, see my earlier message with the error log from claude log.
If I go back to the prior version by setting mcp-server-motherduck==0.3.0 in config file things work fine.

Hey @kragupat there was a bug in 0.3.2, and we shipped 0.3.3 a few hours ago and fixed it. Could you check again with the newer version?

I am planning to test the different modes of running the server.

Meanwhile, we had a bug in v 0.3.2 and fixed it in 0.3.3. could you check on your side if you're using 0.3.3 and still get an error UX?
