Another great discussion at the most recent ULI Greece & Cyprus Living Forum hosted at the offices of TEMES S.A. Our focus was on the growing sector of Branded Residences in Greece—a model that blends luxury hospitality with residential real estate, creating new opportunities for both investors and lifestyle-driven buyers. Evgenios Dendrinos, Managing Director at TEMES, walked us through some of the company’s landmark projects and offered deep insights into how branded residences are evolving in the Greek market, what drives demand, and how international standards are being adapted to the local context. His perspective sparked a thoughtful exchange around the role of partnerships, brand value, and integrated resort development. A big thank you to TEMES S.A. for their generous hospitality and for setting the stage for a meaningful conversation. And of course, many thanks to Stavros Tolias, CEO of ZOIA, and Konstantinos Papadopoulos, Founder of Resi Company, co-chairs of the Living Forum, for bringing together another high-quality session with engaged professionals from across the real estate sector. Looking forward to continuing the conversation at our next gathering! #ULIGreeceCyprus #BrandedResidences #RealEstateGreece

Congratulations to Synergy360, an inter-collegiate team of students who participated in this year’s ULI Hines Student Competition – Europe and came second in the live final, which took place at Hines’ European Headquarters in London. Synergy360’s participants hailed from several European universities, with three of the four students originally from Greece and proud to have represented the country, including Athina Poupa (ESADE Business School), Stavroula Tziourtzia (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Angeliki Samara (AUEB). The team of four was completed by Leo Galler (MIT). A total of six multidisciplinary teams of four student each, presenting various universities and business schools from across the region. participated in the final. The students were challenged to combine their skills, industry knowledge and creative thinking to tackle a demanding and practical challenge before presenting their urban development proposals in response to a jury composed of real estate industry leaders from across Europe. A real-world urban case study required the teams to address the challenges related to retail around London’s Bond Street station. Synergy360’s proposals addressed diverse elements including retail repositioning and the public realm to modern living and working spaces, and included a "rooftop walk" threading above and through Oxford Street, to create a new pedestrian layer connecting fragmented streetscapes, activating vacant retail space, and bringing fresh life to the area. Congratulations to Synergy360 for their incredible achievement, to the team from University of Cambridge for winning the 2025 competition, and to all the teams who took part this year!
