What happens when tech, business, and nonprofits come together? Something pretty powerful. Last week, we hosted 115+ nonprofit pros and tech leaders at the Community Hub—alongside Microsoft, Fiverr, Riskified, and the CSR & Hitech community—for a morning full of connection, real talk, and big ideas. We kicked off with speakers Shlomit (Haviv) Kohai, Eran Rozen, and Maayan Sar Shalom, sharing how monday.com is weaving social impact into the way we work—backed by leadership, strategy, and a whole lot of heart. Then came the magic: open networking that sparked unexpected collaborations and bold conversations about what’s possible when we stop working in silos and start building together. With a background in social work and an MBA from the Mandel Social Leadership Program, Maayan brings heart, strategy, and deep commitment to every initiative she leads. This week, we wrapped up the final event of our Impact Lab initiative! 🚀 Impact Lab is our hands-on philanthropy course, created in collaboration with Reichman University. After weeks of learning, deep research, active listening, and collaboration, our students took the stage to present their funding proposals - all focused on youth-centred initiatives. And this wasn’t just a simulation! Each group made real-world decisions, allocating a total of $150,000 to high-impact nonprofits. The room was filled with purpose, fresh ideas, and future changemakers in action. What’s it like to volunteer at Tech School? 🤔 You show up, share your story, and help students build big ideas. Volunteers start by talking about how they got into tech, the REAL stuff students don’t hear in school. Then they jump into hands-on projects, like designing pods for the houseless or creating assistive tools. Students pitch ideas. Volunteers ask smart questions. Together, they make it happen.
