Hi! I’m Isra, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker from Rio de Janeiro. I work in the tech field about 4 years and study Computer Science, but I’ve always been passionate about languages and communication — which led me to become a tutor.

I teach students from all backgrounds and levels. Whether you’re just starting out, preparing for a trip, or looking to improve your confidence in Portuguese, I can help you reach your goals with personalised lessons that make sense for your needs.

Outside of working as a dev and teaching, I enjoy skating (inline!) and illustration.

As a native speaker and language enthusiast, I have a strong foundation in communication. I speak English and understand Spanish well, which helps me teach students from diverse backgrounds.

I highly recommend learning with Isra. She makes you feel comfortable and doesn't rush your progress, allowing time to review and practice. She has some very good worksheets for you to practice at home. After only 3 lessons I was using what I learnt on the street.
