Hello. My name is Zohra, a Level 5 TEFL-certified teacher with tutoring and volunteer teaching experience, dedicated to creating an engaging, supportive and productive learning environment that will help learners achieve their English language goals.

I enjoy creative hobbies like henna artistry, art and craft projects, and baking. I’m passionate about exploring the outdoors through activities like snorkelling, hiking, and travelling and in quieter moments, I love reading.

During my 420-hour Advanced Diploma in TEFL, I developed a strong foundation in lesson planning, teaching the four key skills, and adapting resources for one-on-one and group settings. I also specialise in teaching Business English and IELTS exam preparation.

My practical experience includes years of private tutoring for students ranging from Grade 4 to first-year university, as well as volunteer work at a child and youth care centre where I provided additional academic support. My academic background, which includes a Master’s degree in Pharmacology, has equipped me with excellent communication, presentation, organisational and time management skills that can be essential in a classroom environment. Additionally, my patience, empathy, and collaborative mindset have proven invaluable when working with students with special educational needs, such as ADHD and ASD, as well as when supporting learners in one-to-one and group settings.
