About me

Hey, everyone! I'm Aycee. I was born and raised in the Philippines. 🇵🇭

Even though I started young as a teacher, I strongly believe that I can fully utilize the skills I have at my age, and use it as an advantage to teach others. I'm usually updated with current trends and latest events, and I always take the opportunity to converse with people of different ages and cultures, which can be helpful in classroom settings. The reason why I developed my strong passion to teach English is mostly because of my experiences in communicating with others, most especially with my family, as we use English as our primary language at home.

I'm a TEFL-certified teacher. I finished a 120-Hour TEFL Course last March 2022, and have 5 years of experience in teaching English to young learners. I also have a lot of experience in teaching Speaking and Grammar to adults.

After participating in class sessions with me, most of my students began to show huge improvements, especially in their speaking skills. Some of them have even joined school competitions, achieved high test scores in their English subjects, and have participated in overseas English summer camps. Most of my students have become more confident in speaking English, and have become more comfortable to express themselves during the lessons.

I am confident in my skills when it comes to teaching my students grammar, listening, reading and speaking, because not only do they get to learn practical knowledge— they also learn how to use these skills in their daily lives.

My strength as a teacher is that I allow my students to unleash their inner creativity and confidence in speaking English, while encouraging them to use it to their full potential. I give them many opportunities to showcase their skills as well.

I have five years of experience in handling students who need to improve their speaking skills, and most of them have already become confident in using the English language in daily conversations.

English for beginners

I have taught many students regarding Phonics, which includes new vocabulary words, various sounds and pronunciations, and most of them have learned how to make their own sentences using the words, too.

Even though I wasn't born in the U.S, I've always spoken in English with my family. Since my dad is also a professional English teacher, I always speak in English with him. I'm also confident about my accent, since I've practiced blending a lot of times.
