Stegra
Tillverkning av nymetaller
Accelerating the decarbonization of hard-to-abate industries

Say hello to the Chavez family! They moved from Texas to Boden when Daniel stepped into his role as head of meltshop, where he’s now building the team from the ground up. "I have worked for two of the largest steel manufacturing companies in the USA, so this isn't new to me. But what makes it special here is that it’s a completely new company and everything we do is built from scratch. We are on the right track, and Europe and the world need this to happen,” explains Daniel. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/g8sKJTjY Photos: KOMM/Boden Municipality

At Stegra, we are committed to cleaning up heavy industry for good — so it was a pleasure to welcome Columbia Professor and climate economist Gernot Wagner as he explored our approach to near-zero emission steel production. Thank you to Gernot and The YEARS Project for your interest in our work and for helping shine a light on how we can reduce the carbon footprint of heavy industry. A green future is possible!
