Robert Koh has been a core member of ASSA ABLOY for 36 years and has worked with various colleagues around the globe in his Treasury and Tax Specialist role. He started his career through Lockwood in Australia in ’89 as a Financial Accountant. Later on, it was acquired by ASSA ABLOY. He was then part of the evolution of the APAC division, which began with a CEO, a CFO and him, becoming the Corporate Affairs Manager for the new division. Over time he moved into his current role of Tax and Treasury Specialist, which has seen him being involved in the M&A work. “I enjoy constantly meeting and working with new people, and given our M&A work, we are usually bringing new companies into the businesses each year, so it is always new and different from before” says Robert. Robert’s advice to people who are beginning or early in their career with ASSA ABLOY is that there are plenty of opportunities to learn and get exposure. “On the intranet all the job opportunities available around the world are shown. We put our employees first when considering applicants for vacant roles. We have a lot of access to training and ongoing learning, so if opportunities arise, take them. Meet Anushree Jindal, based in the bustling city of Mumbai, India, who is a champion for employee well-being and workplace culture.
