Ever heard of a hearing clinic where you can try out tech, ask questions, and actually enjoy the experience? 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. “So… what is World of Hearing?” We get this question all the time- and we genuinely love answering it. Because it’s not just another clinic. It’s a completely fresh take on hearing care. 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙖 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬: It’s not rushed. It’s not clinical. It’s designed to feel calm, open, and empowering. You walk into a space where you’re encouraged to explore—not just sit and listen. ▪️You can test out the latest hearing aids before committing. ▪️You get hands-on demos that show how the tech actually works in real life. ▪️You leave with real understanding—not just results on a printout. It’s hearing care that meets people where they are, helps them feel comfortable, and gives them the confidence to take the next step. Want to see for yourself? You can book a hearing appointment here: https://lnkd.in/ebkSF7VQ 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩’𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚: This is a game-changer. ▪️It’s more time with each person-not back-to-back appointments. ▪️It’s access to cutting-edge tools and immersive testing environments. ▪️It’s conversations that go beyond test results-where you can educate, guide, and truly support your customers. You’re not just doing hearing checks-you’re transforming lives. And you get to do it in a space that’s built to help you deliver the very best version of your care. And the exciting bit? 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴. We’re currently looking for audiologists to join our brand-new up and coming World of Hearing stores in: ▪️Abingdon ▪️Letchworth ▪️Brent Cross ▪️Jersey ▪️Cardiff If this sounds like the kind of environment you’d thrive in- or if someone amazing comes to mind- Apply below or drop Steve Rudd a message. https://lnkd.in/g-KhyXaM Here's a short video that gives a glimpse into what World of Hearing is all about. #WorldOfHearing #AudiologyJobs #BootsHearingcare #NowHiring #TalentAcquisition #HearingCare #WeCare #JoinUs #CustomerExperience #HealthcareCareers

Hearing Loss: The Hidden Disability We Need to Talk About According to RNID • One in three adults in the UK are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. • Over 18 million adults in the UK are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. • Over half the population aged 55 or more have hearing loss. • 80% of people over the age of 70 will have hearing loss. • An estimated 1.2 million adults in the UK have hearing loss severe enough that they would not be able to hear most conversational speech… Yet many remain unaware of how profoundly it impacts daily life. Unlike visible disabilities, hearing challenges are not always obvious to others, they may be unaware of required adaptations until a disconnect between people occurs. At this point however it can result in misunderstandings, frustrations, negatively impacted relationships, humiliation, loss of confidence and participation withdrawal, leading to isolation and depressive tendencies. This Disability Pride Month, it’s time to spotlight hearing loss as a hidden disability and create spaces where everyone feels heard. 🔎 Why It Matters? Hearing loss can be isolating. People may withdraw from conversations, meetings, and group activities simply because of the extra fatiguing effort it takes to keep concentrating. The emotional toll is real and has been linked to exhaustion, anxiety, and reduced confidence at work. And yet, many avoid seeking help due to fear of judgment or assumptions that hearing loss is “just part of getting older.” But hearing health deserves the same attention as any other aspect of wellbeing. It is time to normalise caring for our hearing health just like teeth and eyes. 👂 What Can You Do? • Raise awareness: Share stories, start conversations, and challenge stereotypes about hearing loss. • Get tested: If you, or a family member or friend are struggling to hear particularly in noise get a hearing test. They are quick, easy, and can be life-changing. • Embrace tech: Modern hearing aids come in many designs and colours, the technology can be discreet, stylish, and provide effortless connection to people and devices through direct streaming. • Listen actively: Show patience, speak clearly, and check in if someone seems disengaged, it might not be intentional. Disability Pride Month Disability Pride Month is a celebration of diversity, resilience, and the fight for equality. Recognising hearing loss as a legitimate, often hidden disability opens the door to greater empathy and better support, not only in workplaces but across society. Whether your hearing is crystal-clear, you want to protect this vital sense, or you rely on using technology processing a little or a lot to stay connected with the world, we all have a role in making sure everyone is included in the conversation. Let’s turn up the volume on inclusion this July. 📢 #DisabilityPrideMonth #InclusionMatters #BootsHearingcare
