✨ Partnership in Action ✨ We’re delighted to have partnered with the University of Southampton 🎓 on their CareerReady+ Global Employability Certificate Programme — a pioneering initiative for offer holder engagement in China 🇨🇳, leveraging PingPong’s partnerships with leading platforms including ByteDance, Weibo, and Xiaohongshu. At PingPong Digital, we always strive to go above and beyond in supporting our partners. Our own Peidong Hu not only delivered a powerful session as part of the programme but also shared his own journey - from Southampton MSc Marketing student to working in the UK digital marketing industry. His story brought the programme to life, inspiring students with real-world insights and a sense of what’s possible. 👋🏼 Meet PingPong Digital’s newest team member, Shuang Yu ! 🏢 Shuang joins the PPD team as our new Digital Marketing Executive based in Birmingham. 📚 She is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Business and Marketing at Aberystwyth University. 💼 With experience as both a freelance Marketing Manager and an Account Executive, Shuang brings valuable skills and insights to the team. 🥾 Outside of work, Shuang enjoys hiking, surfing and travelling as these activities inspire her to embrace challenges, explore new perspectives, and connect with people from different cultures. We’re excited to have you on board, Shuang—welcome to the PPD family! 🎉

✨ Wrapping up our summer internship program ✨ Over the past two weeks, we were delighted to welcome Josh McGravie to PingPong Digital for his summer placement. Josh, who studied BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance at Liverpool John Moores University, joined us with a clear goal: to gain first-hand exposure to marketing processes, strategies, and how they adapt across different markets. During his time here, Josh had the chance to learn from different departments across the business — from marketing and client strategy to finance and operations. When reflecting on his experience, Josh shared: “It gave me a unique insight into a side of business I wasn’t as familiar with – seeing what’s involved in bringing clients onboard. I also enjoyed learning about social media strategies, how to use them effectively, and how regulations come into play.” We’re really proud of Josh’s progress and enthusiasm, and we wish him all the best in his next steps! 🚀

Our Director Jimmy has been in Shanghai for the past week, meeting with our amazing talented team, clients, friends, partners. It’s been a valuable chance to reconnect in person (it’s been years since Jimmy was in the city), seeing how the city and the people continue to evolve. It’s Alipay, WeChat and Dianping everything. Her studies are providing her with a solid foundation in Digital Media, Storytelling, and Strategy, skills she is eager to apply here at PPD. 💼 Whilst studying at the University of Warwick, Lily has taken on roles such as Research Assistant, Student Events Ambassador and Course Representative. 💃 Outside of work, Lily enjoys expressing herself through street dance, painting, yoga, or simply enjoying good music.
