The UK’s digital skills landscape is at a critical juncture. That's why last week, in partnership with Baroness Verma, we hosted a strategic roundtable in the House of Lords, bringing together key parliamentarians, including Shadow Education Minister Saqib Bhatti MP, along with leaders from business and training. The conversation explored how we can bridge the gap between policy and the pace of technological change. We focused on the big questions: - How can we make strategic workforce planning a priority? - What is needed to help SMEs access vital upskilling opportunities? - How can we embed digital literacy from school age, equipping teachers to deliver on a digital-first mindset? - How can we create stackable, modular training that keeps pace with AI and automation? We’re grateful to all those who contributed to this vital conversation.
