Job Title: Accounts Executive – E-Commerce (Barry M)
Reports to: Head of Account Management/General Manager
Full-Time (Hybrid) 2 days Homebased/ 3 days Office
The Accounts Executive – E-Commerce will play a key role in driving Barry M’s online growth, with a primary focus on managing the brand’s direct-to-consumer website and Amazon accounts. This role is responsible for delivering sales and profitability targets across these channels by optimising product listings, planning promotional activity, and analysing performance data to identify growth opportunities. Working closely with marketing, demand planning, supply chain, and customer service teams, the role ensures a seamless customer experience and strong trading performance. In addition to .com and Amazon, the position also supports the development of emerging social commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop, keeping Barry M at the forefront of digital retail innovation.
Com Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day trading of Barry M’s direct-to-consumer website, delivering sales, margin, and profitability targets.
- Plan and execute the trading calendar, product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal sales events in close collaboration with the marketing team.
- Maintain and optimise all product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, images, and categorisation to improve discoverability and conversion rates.
- Monitor website performance, traffic, and conversion data, identifying quick wins and longer-term improvements.
- Coordinate with demand planning, supply chain and customer service teams to ensure a seamless order fulfilment process and excellent customer experience.
Amazon Responsibilities
- Manage Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central accounts, ensuring listings are accurate, compliant, and fully optimised for search visibility.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies for major retail events including Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and other marketplace-led opportunities.
- Plan and manage Amazon Advertising campaigns, continually optimising for reach, conversion, and ROI.
- Analyse Amazon sales, traffic, keyword rankings, and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and address risks.
- Monitor competitor activity and marketplace trends, applying best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.
TikTok Shop Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of Barry M’s TikTok Shop, ensuring products are listed, optimised, and fully shoppable.
- Collaborate with marketing and social teams to align TikTok Shop promotions with influencer campaigns, live shopping events, and seasonal activity.
- Monitor performance metrics such as sales, conversion, and traffic, making data-led adjustments to improve results.
- Stay informed on TikTok commerce trends, tools, and algorithms to maximise visibility and sales potential.
- Coordinate with fulfilment teams to ensure TikTok Shop orders are processed and delivered smoothly.
Shared Responsibilities
- Track performance across both platforms on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, reporting insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Work closely with demand planning to manage stock availability, prevent out-of-stocks, and align inventory with demand forecasts.
- Work closely with demand planning and marketing to plan bundles and other promotional activity
- Stay up to date on e-commerce best practices, emerging technologies, and beauty industry trends to drive continual improvement.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years’ experience in e-commerce account management, digital trading, or online marketplace roles (beauty, FMCG, retail preferred).
- Practical experience managing Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales data and performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Brand Analytics).
- Experience planning and executing promotional calendars and campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce stock management and working with supply chain to maintain stock availability.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of - Shopify
Nice-to-Have Experience & Skills
- Hands-on experience with managing .com platforms
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop Seller Centre and/or managing social commerce channels.
- Knowledge of Amazon Advertising and PPC campaign management.
- Experience optimising product content for SEO and online discoverability.
- Background in beauty or fashion industries, understanding consumer trends and product merchandising.
- Creative flair for merchandising, storytelling, and improving the online customer experience.
- Ability to stay ahead of e-commerce trends and recommend innovative solutions.
