💜 This June during Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we’re proud to highlight our ongoing partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association — an organization we collaborate with year-round to bring expert-led dementia care trainings to our team. These quarterly virtual sessions are open to all nurses and HHAs, helping us provide thoughtful, informed, and compassionate care in the home. We’re also honored to host events in our space, including recent programming on dementia in underserved populations, and to facilitate a monthly support group for spouses caring for a loved one with dementia. A Legacy Worth Celebrating! Last night, we were honored to attend a moving celebration marking the 50th anniversary of Govenor Hugh L. Carey’s tenure as New York State Governor—and to reflect on the privilege of having him as one of Alliance Homecare’s very first clients. Surrounded by the Carey family and longtime members of his administration—we were reminded of the leadership and compassion that defined his life and legacy. The highlight of the evening: a powerful tribute by Chris Matthews, who declared Governor Carey “the greatest governor in the history of the state.” We are proud to have stood by Governor Carey in his final years, just as he once stood for all of New York. #HomeCare #AllianceHomecare #NewYork #Govenor
