About us
If you think you need help, you probably do. If you’ve battled addiction, you know the pain, the fear, the suffocating loneliness it brings. In a moment of truth, you may have thought to yourself – I am not okay, but I want to be. And you can be. Avenues Recovery is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers which offers individualized treatment and a comprehensive continuum of care – spanning detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programming. We understand that addiction is a chronic, progressive, and relapsing disease regardless of what caused its onset, and that it can be prevented with timely intervention and care – and we treated it as such. Avenues offers individualized addiction treatment in a clean, modern, homelike setting, utilizing varied medical and clinical modalities to achieve the best possible results for each client. We believe strongly in our holistic approach - assessing every aspect of the client’s mental and emotional health and letting that guide treatment. We treat sources, not symptoms; we heal the whole person. Once a client enters our doors, we embrace them as part of the Avenues family for life. We are not a rehab – we are a community. Reach out today to begin your journey home! Call 888-683-0333 to learn how we can help you.

Out of the sorrow of overdose, we find the light of recovery. National Recovery Month is a reminder that behind every statistic of loss is also a story of resilience, healing, and hope. Recovery is not only possible — it is happening every day in our communities. Let’s honor those we’ve lost by celebrating those who are rebuilding their lives, and by continuing to fight for access, awareness, and compassion. 💜 #recoveryispossible #recoveroutloud #wedorecover

Overdose can feel overwhelming — but you are NOT powerless. There are steps each of us can take that save lives: 👉 Learn to recognize the signs of overdose. 👉 Carry Narcan and know how to use it. 👉 Talk openly about addiction to reduce stigma. 👉 Support treatment, recovery, and prevention efforts. Every action matters. Sometimes, it’s the smallest step that makes the biggest difference. Together, we can turn awareness into action. #OverdoseAwareness #EndTheStigma #RecoveryIsPossible

On this International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost. We honor their stories. And we stand with the families, friends, and communities who carry their grief every day. Overdose is not just a statistic — it is sons, daughters, parents, and friends gone too soon. By speaking openly, breaking stigma, and expanding access to treatment and life-saving tools like Narcan, we can turn awareness into action. Every life mattered. Every story deserves to be remembered. 💜 #OverdoseAwarenessDay #EndTheStigma #RecoveryIsPossible #PublicHealth

Grief after overdose is complicated. 💔 When someone you love dies from overdose, the world doesn’t just go quiet — it unravels. Families are left with unanswerable questions, heavy silence, and too often, stigma that makes the grief even harder to carry. This kind of loss is unlike any other. It brings anger, guilt, sadness, and love all at once. And while nothing can take away the pain, talking about it helps us remember our loved ones for who they truly were — not just how they died. By speaking openly, we honor their full story: their laughter, their kindness, their life. And in sharing, we remind others walking the same road that they are not alone. Grief is the price of love. And remembering is how we keep that love alive. 🕊️ #internationaloverdoseawarenessday #gonetoosoon #neverforgotten

Would you know the signs of an overdose? 🚨 For too many people, the answer is no — and that lack of awareness can cost lives. Overdose often looks different than what we imagine. Slow or stopped breathing, blue lips or fingertips, extreme drowsiness, or unresponsiveness are all urgent red flags. These aren’t just medical symptoms. They are calls to action. Recognizing them quickly can mean the difference between tragedy and survival. Call 911. Administer Narcan. Stay until help arrives. Overdose is preventable — but only if we see the signs in time. 💜 #internationaloverdoseawarenessday #knowthesigns #endthestigma

The crisis is real. The impact is personal. 💔 Every 5 minutes, someone in the U.S. dies from a drug overdose. More than 111,000 lives were lost last year — with fentanyl involved in the majority of cases. Behind these numbers are people: sons, daughters, parents, and friends. Overdose has become the #1 cause of death for adults ages 18–45, cutting across every age, race, and community. But overdose is not inevitable. Awareness, education, access to treatment, and carrying Narcan can all save lives. The statistics are staggering — but they are not the whole story. Together, we can change the outcome. 🙏 #overdoseawareness #addictionawareness #recoveryispossible

Happy First Birthday, AVENUES RECOVERY CENTER Indy!!! 🎉 One year ago today, Avenues Recovery Center of Indianapolis welcomed our very first client. What started as a construction site full of potential is now a thriving, healing community—and I’ve had the privilege of witnessing that transformation from day one as the facility’s first employee. In just 12 months, we’ve grown to a dedicated team of over 75 staff members and have had the honor of serving more than 900 individuals on their journey to recovery. The growth has been nothing short of extraordinary—and it’s only the beginning. Here’s to our incredible team, our resilient clients, and the powerful mission that drives us every single day. Year 1 was special. Year 2 is going to be amazing. Let’s GO. 💙 #AvenuesRecovery #IndyRecovery #OneYearStrong #RecoveryCommunity #Leadership #AddictionRecovery #Gratitude #KeepComingBack #NeverGiveUp
