Celebrating the ribbon cutting for two new, two-story classroom buildings at Sunnyvale Middle School was an inspiring milestone for students, staff and the community. In partnership with Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA), GPLA Structural Engineers and Builders and LPA, Inc., we worked with Sunnyvale School District to replace outdated portables with modern Folia facilities that feature 23 adaptable classrooms, student breakout areas, a teacher collaboration space and a landscaped courtyard. Funded by Bond Measure GG, this project reflects the District’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, while delivering inspiring, high-performance spaces that will serve students for years to come. Construction is nearly complete at The Charles, a seven-story, 99-unit affordable housing community in downtown San Jose. Designed using BIM and built with a state-of-the-art parking garage featuring car stackers, this impactful project was delivered in partnership with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County to provide new housing options that support long-term affordability and community well-being. With the school year approaching, Homestead High School stands as a strong example of campus transformation, with seismic upgrades and full classroom modernizations across two buildings totaling 29,400 sq.ft. on an active campus. This comprehensive project included the complete demolition and replacement of building systems, reconfigured interior layouts and updated finishes throughout, delivering revitalized learning environments designed for flexibility, functionality and longevity. Notably, the seismic scope featured a specialized Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) wrap system to strengthen the campus’s structural integrity, ensuring a safer educational experience for both students and staff. #BuildingFutures

The Hollister High School Student Union was completed last winter and will continue to serve as a much-needed food service and social gathering space for more than 3,500 students on campus in the upcoming school year.
