We cut our total accessibility violations by over 66% in the last 6 weeks. Here's how: Over the years, we accrued a11y debt because it was everyone and no one's responsibility. Sure, we did VPATs but they were out of date the moment they were finished. It was only when we considered a11y a pipeline and not a checklist that things actually changed. We were able to block merging regressions and finally had visibility into the scope of the issues. Comment below for our exact technical approach. We went from +17,000 to 6,579.

Our team fixed over 10,000 accessibility violations in the last two months by dogfooding Chromatic's own accessibility features. This is the only graph where down and to the right is incredible.

We've been researching what AI means for Storybook, and how we can improve your experience with agents when working on UI and stories. We have an experimental MCP addon ready that we'd love for you to try out: https://hubs.li/Q03GXn2c0 It's still early, and we plan to share our research results with y'all soon, but if you're just eager to play around with some of our results, please check it out!

Accessibility often lags behind because testing doesn’t match how we build software. Why? - Audits live outside the dev workflow - Page-level tests create noise - CI/CD gets blocked by a ton of old issues Join me at SquiggleConf to build an accessibility pipeline using Storybook that catches accessibility issues at the root: components.

AI can spin up UI fast. The problem? It doesn’t know your design system. That’s why the outputs look fine at first glance—but break the moment you compare them to production. What happens when you do give AI your design system? 👉 You get quality UI without an avalanche of follow-up prompts. Join us live with TJ Pitre, Founder & CEO of Southleft, and expert in AI-Powered Design Systems, to show what happens when you give LLMs the missing ingredient: your design system. We’ll show how to: ⚡ Connect Storybook + MCP + Claude 🧩 Generate UI from your actual components 🚀 Prototype faster without endless re-prompts 📅 Save your spot → https://hubs.li/Q03DC6Zg0

Testing your frontend isn’t just writing tests. It’s figuring out which tests are worth your time—and which are slowing you down. Our Frontend Testing Guide breaks down how top engineering teams: ✅ Decide what to test at the component, UI, and flow level ✅ Catch functional and visual bugs before they hit prod ✅ Avoid brittle E2E suites that collapse under change If you’ve ever felt your test suite was too slow, too flaky, or missing the real bugs, this will help you fix it. 📚 Read the guide → https://hubs.li/Q03CFPQv0
