  • There is still time to sign up for their Fall 2025 Citizens Police Academy. 🚓🚨 This ten (10) week course is designed to offer an in-depth understanding of modern-day law enforcement in Fort Thomas. It encourages citizens to take an active role in their community, and to connect with our community members to cultivate positive and meaningful relationships. The program will run September 4- November 22 on Thursday from 6-9pm. Participants must be 18 years or older with no felony convictions. Questions can be emailed to Lieutenant Nathan Day at nday@fthomas.org. Additional information and the application to apply can be found at the link.   • Northern Kentucky Water District has put an alert on their webpage. It says a water transmission main has been hit on Ohio Avenue in Fort Thomas impacting several customers and NKWD is working on isolating a break and will have water restored as soon as possible.

  • The Fort Thomas Recreation Department is hiring a Recreation Coordinator! The individual will be registration and scheduling of Recreational leagues, facilitating Mess Hall rental meetings, assessing the effectiveness of recreation programs and providing feedback, plan, organize, and implement recreational activities, and additional duties as needed. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Candidate should have a passion for creating positive and inclusive recreation experiences. They should be adept at planning, implementing and evaluating programs while fostering a fun and engaging environment. Candidate should also be resourceful, a problem solver and open to feedback. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and manage time are required. Provide exceptional customer service to residents of the community, participants and build relationships with the public.
