Lately I’ve been hearing this frequently: “My LinkedIn engagement is down.” Most of the time, the issue isn’t your ideas, it’s the way they’re presented. Here’s the thing: LinkedIn’s algorithm rewards dwell time, which is how long people stay on your post. But your audience isn’t reading every word — they’re scanning — and if your post is a dense wall of text, they’ll move on. If your post is easy to skim, people will: — Stop scrolling. — Click “see more”. — Stay longer (and engage). To make your posts scanning-friendly: — Use short, clear paragraphs (1–2 sentences). — Add plenty of white space. — Lead with strong opening lines. — Use lists or structure to highlight key points. Great ideas need great formatting! That’s how you turn attention into visibility, and visibility into influence. The most rewarding part of my work with Climate Social is helping executives shape their expertise into content that commands attention and inspires action. Your ideas deserve to be read, remembered, and acted upon.

Very interesting news to watch today!! A landmark class-action lawsuit has been filed to force the EPA to reinstate the $3 billion Environmental and Climate Justice (ECJ) grant program, which the administration abruptly terminated despite a congressional mandate under the Inflation Reduction Act. Legal advocacy is being led by Earthjustice, Southern Environmental Law Center, Public Rights Project, and Lawyers For Good Government. If successful, it would reinstate all 349 grants and restore critical funding to communities on the frontlines of climate and environmental injustice. https://lnkd.in/egnw-GmR #ClimateJustice #EnvironmentalJustice #InflationReductionAct #EPA

What do a wind farm in New York, 275,000 heat pumps in Maine, and the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline have in common? They were all driven by grassroots, community-led climate efforts. A new report puts numbers to their impact — and the results are striking. The general rule of thumb has been that EVs take 2–3 years to break even environmentally. But as sourcing improves and the grid gets cleaner, that number keeps shrinking. 😎 P.S. Consider this your friendly monthly reminder: Federal EV tax credits expire September 30. Go get ‘em!! 👍👍 #greenliving #evsareforeveryone #goelectric #evs

“But, but, your EV takes 80,000 miles to break even.” Well, maybe they will start to listen when I say it is between 10-15k miles, depending on the manufacturing, country and energy mix to charge it. BMW have revealed one of their ELECTRIC cars takes just 12,428 miles to break even, compared to their petrol equivalent. BMW is telling now telling them, but will they listen? It’s as if I know my stuff and do this for a living 🤣
