Coda is the all-in-one doc for teams.

About us

Coda started in 2014 with a simple observation: In a world full of pre-built tools and applications, why do documents and spreadsheets seem to run the world? The founding Coda team crossed paths at Google, YouTube, and Microsoft, where they saw their teams stretch the limits of what spreadsheets and documents can do. Then in 2014, they banded together to build the doc they always wanted. One that erased the boundaries between words and data. And where everyone could work together, in their own way, off the same data. Coda. It's a new day for docs. Learn more at https://coda.io.

After years of watching Notion's costs climb while features went unused, I made the switch to Coda. It solved problems I didn't even realize we had. The key improvements: ✅ Seamless data migration (no manual cleanup required) ✅ Better access control without complexity ✅ Interactive docs that teams actually want to use ✅ Stable pricing in an unstable market My second article for Grammarly breaks down the real-world impact of making the switch. Big news from our Grammarly friends! Grammarly announced its intent to acquire Superhuman, and we couldn't be more thrilled about what this means for the future of productivity. Since joining Grammarly, we've been focused on becoming a “home” for Grammarly where multiple AI agents can research, analyze, create, collaborate, and share information all in one place. Now with Superhuman in the mix, we're completing a critical piece of the productivity puzzle. This isn't just about adding more tools. It's about creating an ecosystem where AI agents work together to amplify human potential. Whether you're analyzing data in Coda, communicating with Grammarly, or managing your inbox with Superhuman, it's all part of one cohesive experience.

This just in: Grammarly intends to acquire Superhuman, the email productivity app! 🚀 The numbers tell an incredible story: Superhuman users send 72% more emails per hour, save 4 hours weekly, and respond 1-2 days faster. Even better? 94% of users actually embrace the AI features, which tells us we're onto something meaningful. But here's what really excites us: Imagine your inbox becoming a collaboration space where multiple AI agents work together. One handles your writing, another ensures accuracy, one provides project context, and another optimizes your messaging. They all work in harmony—while you focus on what matters most. Combined with our recent Coda acquisition, which provides a workspace for managing agents to research, analyze, create, collaborate, and share information, Superhuman will complete a critical piece of the productivity puzzle. You know that old saying, when docs imitate docs? No? Just us? Huh. Well, regardless, it happened again. We recently shared how Grammarly used Coda to build the ultimate hub for their style guide. And with our brand new *ahem* Brand Hub template, you can easily build your own version of a team hub all in one spot. The Brand Hub template is packed with everything a team needs to stay synced up: mission, values, voice, tone, and space for guidelines, creative assets, as well as team rituals. Start imitating the best workflow and make it your own: https://lnkd.in/gm6e7izs
