Successful companies know how important it is for people to feel like their jobs have made them part of a community. It’s such a vital human need, and it also helps us do our best work. I felt the connective power of custom gear the first time I put on my drum major’s uniform in high school. But now, I’m happy to say that I know the power it has, because we’ve just completed a really exciting survey that shows the impact of custom swag on peoples’ feelings about their jobs and their employers. Here are a few power facts from the survey: 94% of people who receive swag at least once a month at work said they are “very satisfied” with their current employer, but only 18% of employees whose companies never give them swag said the same. 92% said wearing company swag increased their feeling of connection and community to their team. 88% said they felt more positive about their company after receiving a favorite piece of swag. 93% said they would be more likely to stay with their employer for another year if they received the right piece of swag.
