About us
The Fashion Scholarship fund is an international non-profit organization composed of influential members of the fashion industry. Our goal is to advance the fashion industry by encouraging gifted and enterprising young people to pursue careers in design, merchandising, retailing and business so the industry will continue to attract dedicated, capable and creative individuals. We regard our scholarship grants as a very worthwhile investment in the future of the fashion industry and, since inception, have awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to thousands of students nationwide from 60 member universities. Record donations of over $20 million have been received in the past ten years. As further support to scholars, we facilitate internships with prestigious fashion companies and provide career mentoring by prominent senior executives who serve on our Board of Governors.

Today’s #FSFInternSpotlight: ‘24 and ‘25 Virgil Abloh™ “”Post-Modern”” Scholar DaNae Harrison (@amournae__) of Spelman College, who is spending her summer with Louis Vuitton’s Human Resources team in the LVMH offices here in NYC! “My main tasks include developing recruitment strategies for diverse talent such as those with disabilities and veterans. I’m especially proud of this workmbecause it’s a less explored approach to diversity, especially in the fashion industry. Louis Vuitton has shown me that great company culture doesn’t happen by accident—it’s built through consistent and thoughtful effort. My favorite part of the internship has been any opportunity to connect with the diverse and unparalleled talent within the LVMH group across all maisons, functions, and levels.” Click through to see more of her experience, and visit: https://lnkd.in/dXeUh2YH to learn more about DaNae now. You can see more from her internship here: https://lnkd.in/dPPfRdhj. Thanks for sharing with us!
