In July, our India team proudly carried out three impactful #CSR initiatives that reflect our ongoing commitment to uplifting lives and strengthening communities: 🚜 Skill Development for Youth Through our Forklift Operator Program with Lok Bharti, 60 local youths have been trained and placed in jobs. They were equipped not just with technical skills, but with confidence, safety awareness, and a path to sustainable livelihoods. 👩🔧 Women-Led Enterprises Through BADLAV In partnership with Krushi Vikas , we’ve supported rural women in launching small businesses—from papad and spice making to paper plate production—empowering them with training, tools, and the courage to lead. 💧 Clean Water for Brighter Futures At Bhamchandra School, we installed 10-tab drinking water stations, benefiting 1,600 students from 25 villages. This partnership with Spandan Yuva Pratishthan promotes hydration, hygiene, and a healthier learning environment. “As part of our CSR initiatives, we are actively contributing to education, healthcare, skill development, and rural empowerment to create meaningful impact in the communities we serve. Our GBS Costa Rica associates had a meaningful day with #AnimalesDeAsís, an incredible non-profit, no kill animal sanctuary dedicated to caring for stray, sick, and injured animals, providing them with love, medical care, food, protection and eventually a forever home. We brought food, medicine, and supplies, rolled up our sleeves to help with cleaning and caregiving. Of course, the best part was spending quality time with these sweet pups! 🐾❤️ Every small act of kindness makes a big difference. It was a pleasure to welcome Cefic’s Energy & Climate team to our Rotterdam site. A climb up our 52-meter crystallizer (built in 2021 to produce MDI-based polyurethanes products) offered a vantage point that puts the scale of our industry and its challenges into perspective. The visit aimed to highlight the operational realities of the European chemicals sector and the urgent need for supportive energy and industrial policies. Together with Cefic we’re showing policymakers the real impact of decisions on facilities like ours.
