From Collections to leading a national field team, Jeffery Brown’s career journey has been driven by curiosity, a hunger to learn, and a passion for building strong relationships.   Jeff joined Hyundai Capital America in 2010, taking on the role of Business Development Manager after an early career in operations and commercial management. In 2014 he moved to Regional Sales as Manager and then Director a few years later. He advanced to National Accounts in 2016 where he supported public and large private dealer groups. That momentum led to a move from the field to HCA’s headquarters in Irvine, where he expanded his expertise by managing OEM incentive programs in the Product Department.   The opportunity to keep learning is what stands out most to Jeff during his time at HCA. “The way HCA embraces innovation keeps you curious and a little uncomfortable – in the best way,” he emphasizes.   Jeff’s advice: “If you’re the smartest person in the room, find another room. Keep learning, be open to new ideas, and take chances because you never know where it might lead.”   Outside of work, Jeff values travel and experiences with his family, even replacing traditional gifts with group adventures.   Today, he is HCA’s National Sales director where he leads a 40-person field team supporting nearly 800 Kia dealerships across the country. Created as a one-stop resource for Genesis customer service and lease-end support, the team combines cross-functional expertise to deliver a high-touch, in-house experience that fuels the luxury standards of the Genesis brand. During the workshop, the team connected with Genesis Motor America and Sales leadership, explored the end-to-end finance journey, and toured a Genesis dealership to gain firsthand insight into the customer and brand experience.
