Thanks to the incredible generosity of our employees, we're equipping local students with 92 backpacks and more than 330 school supply items. We're giving these donations to EXTREME FAMILY OUTREACH MINISTRIES at their Backpack for Success event on Aug. 23. From writing tools to organizational supplies, every item helps level the playing field for students who need support, providing these young minds with everything they need to thrive.

When we provided $20,000 in grant support to The Foundation Schools' Foundation Links program, we knew we were contributing to more than education — we were helping strengthen community health. True community health starts with addressing the barriers our neighbors face every day. Our grant supported 172 students with disabilities, helping families navigate everything from transportation challenges to housing crises. Students like Otto, who went from disengagement to independence, and Aniyah, who stayed focused on graduation despite homelessness. Getting ready for Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period means ensuring brokers have everything they need to help Medicare shoppers find the right plan. We recently held a Pre-AEP Lunch and Learn with 50 brokers and our Sales team to share insights about our Virginia Advantage MD Select (HMO) plan, introduce new tools and launch a dedicated support program. When brokers are well-informed about our plans and processes, Medicare beneficiaries receive better guidance to select coverage that meets their personal needs. #AdvantageMD #JohnsHopkinsMedicare

⛳ Great game, greater cause. In June, our team—Chris Powers, Jeremy Hartlage, MBA, and Billy Brand—hit the course at the Healthy Drives Golf Tournament hosted by Johns Hopkins Health Plans. Held at The Timbers at Troy, the event raised funds for the United Way of Central Maryland and its mission to expand access to education, employment, health, and housing. We were honored to be part of it—and even more honored to leave a few birdies out there in pursuit of first place 😉.
